I believe i read in Discover magazine or some science magazine that the population swings every 100 years or so which may have something to do with natural selection or something. I have heard that (all things being equal) if a woman is pregnant it is 52.8% likely to be a girl. In addition, women live longer than men, so among the senior set, there are more women alive than men.
There are more women than men living right now.

There are more men definitely. A recent report out of China says that there are 3 men to every woman. Also in lot of 3rd world conutries female infanticide is still practised since there is a preference for males.

I have to go with the thread on this one, more women than men just because 1) Women live longer than men and 2) Men are more prone to doing something stupid......look at Jackass and see how many imitators there are on the web. Through intresting actions such as that, I have to go with Women being my final answer.

There are more women, and they also talk more thus contributing more to global warming than men do, not to mention all the ozone destroying hair spray they use. Women are bad for the environment and should be banned like Jeff Gordon banned Brooke when he found Jimmy Johnson.

I think there are more women than men in the US because of life expectancy but I don't know about the rest of the world.

Well, we started off with more men on this Earth then women.
But then there were all these wars, which mostly men participate in, and sadly a majority of them die. And for some reason unknown to me, women live longer lives. So currently there are more women.

Science has shown that there are more women, but I forget what the birth ratio is. Something like 1.3 women to men.
