I had a picture of my baby and her sister taken. I got many copies of them in black and white. I think they were 4x6 pictures. I pasted them on some cute paper that I found at a craft store...that paper was about a 1/2" bigger than the picture. I then took some vellum (?sp) paper and printed the announcement on that from my computer. Vellum paper is transparent so you can see the image through it. I attached the vellum and the picture together with some ribbon at the top. I just put 2 holes at the top and threaded the ribbon through and put it in a nice bow. They turned out great and were very cheap

I ended up buying pre-perforated paper. It came with a template that I could use in MS Word. So all I had to do was fill in the blanks with a picture and text... and pick the best template! Very easy! I think that Avery offers these products, and they can be found at any office supply store.
Best of Luck!

Scan a picture and paste it onto a word document. Ptt the writing around it with what you want to say and maybe some clipart. Email it to your friends and family. If you want it in the paper then email what you want to say to their address with your credit card number and attatch the photo to the email.

I have the Print Shop program, so I will actually be using that to make mine. I'm getting cardstock for my printer and will be printing them off right here.
