Not weird at all. Depends on the gym, most Y's guys hang out nude in the lockerroom all the time, the ones I have been to around the country. You look weird if you wear clothes in the sauna or hot tub or steam room, or just sitting watching the TV. Some of the older Y's still have the Pole showers, so you get really good views of your friends and people you don't know; no big deal at all, everyone has to shower in communal showers in gyms, some do have stalls and curtains, but that does seem silly when you walk out and drop your towel to dry off. Just relax and enjoy the experience.

I've never seen anybody showering in their drawers. Most dudes at the gym I go to either drop trow or shower with a bathing suit on. I personally don't like to shower in "public" bathrooms as they are breeding grounds for germs and bacteria despite sanitation. But showering naked is only normal in a locker room, that is why they are gender separated just so chicks can be naked with other chicks, and dudes naked with other dudes. Nobody is really going to be looking at you, as it is a natural guy thing.. But do whatever you feel more comfortable doing. If you do shower in naked though, you won't have to ring out your dripping wet boxers and lug them home soaking.. - Also I agree with what "Mark A" said, because after a workout you need to wash your junk because of the sweat. Definitely want to keep that area clean, as you can start to smell and nothing is worse than having dirty balls..

Well I'm do shower naked in the locker room after swim in a public pool.I'm didn't feel weird to do that.It just fine for me to shower in naked.Who else will taking shower in cloth?Just take it easy,dude!Don't U think any porn or sexual picture in your mind while U being naked.

When I was in high school, everyone was required to do that. Now the wussies are too afraid to be seen naked and it's been done away with.
People showered naked in groups for thousands of years, that is until a few nerds didn't like it and complained to mommy.
