I can't say I am glad it is over. In truth, I am finally getting round to pulling down my fake tree. Christmas is one of those wonderful things that can last a bit longer for me.

I am glad that Christmas is over until late this year. I had a nice Christmas, but I didn't have a chance to send out Christmas cards or put up many decorations last year but I'm going to go all out this year. However, I am glad that Christmas 2006 is over because that means that spring can't be far behind and I love spring.

why in the world is everyone saying there glad the Christmas season is over?! TO me this Christmas felt wonderful. We decorated our house from the inside out. Had dozens of parties with gift exchanges. I loved seeing my family and going to Church every sunday to visit my friends and teachers. Candlelight services were great at the church and the Christmas music and hymns are so great. Fresh cookies and Christmas treats are always cooking... I don't understand why some people dont like this time of year. I cant wait until next CHRISTmas!

Yes, I am glad christmas is over, as a matter of fact. Christmas is not a very good time of year for me. not that I don't enjoy Christmas, I love the nativity. I'ts just that we lost 3 loved ones in December. in 1992, my dad, and my uncle died in the same week first my uncle on Christmas and New Years Eve my dad. in 1994 we lost my grandma. so you see I have a hard time enjoying Christmas.

I'm not, it didn't feel very much like Christmas this year because of the warm weather. Also, with the decorations having been taken down, things are now bland. The return to normalness feels, boring and tedious, at least when Christmas was around the corner, there was something fun to look forward to.

not really because durring the cristmas season you see all you family and you get the hoouse looking nice, get presents, maybe leave to go see a relative somewhere else. Its a time when you can basically check you worries at the door. but then december 26th rolls around and family starts making plans to go home you start worrying about going back to work/school. All you family sortof scatters into the wind until the next big event.
So in essence no i wish it was still christmas.

Yes yes yes! Its the most boring time of the year, overhyped, too commercial , lost just about all of its original meaning........ dont worry though the shops will have the decorations & cards back on sale round about June time so not too long to wait now! I noticed that Morrisons had Cadburys Creme Eggs in the other day - not sure if its something that available all year round now or if they're gearing up for Easter!!

I love Christmas but I always take down the decorations on New Years Day as I have had enough of them by then.
