accually yea there is a way to make nail polish thinner but it depends on how thick it is. you need nail polish remover. just open upyour nail pollish and put about 1 or two drops of nail polish remover in it and hen put the lid back on and shake for about 15 seconds. this should help. if its still too thick add a little more in and repeat. hope this helped :]

Add a tiny bit of nail polish remover (just a small drop) into the bottle and then shake it up really good. I do this to my old nail polishes that have got real thick. Nail salons also do the same thing.

My personal experience is that it's better to buy nail polish thinner at the drug store than to put in polish remover. When I've tried to use the polish remover, it seems to work initially, but the polish is very soft on your nails and scrapes off easily. Spend a little more and get the solvent.
