WHAT! Of course Arenas deserves the MVP, and im not just saying this b/c im from DC. The guy takes half-court-game-winning-3's consistently and walks off b4 the shot falls like he knows its going in. He scored 60+ on kobe, is the hardest guard to check off the dribble (maybe next to A.I.), averages 30 ppg and 6+ assist with his next best player being Caron Butler or arguably Jamison, neither having the scoring that Amare and Marion provide for Nash. I mean Nash is just the "great white hype" (nothing racist meant by that its just a saying), he had Dirk, Jamison, Walker, Finley etc and couldnt even get them to the finals but Terry did it minus 3 of those players so hes even better than Nash. All the suns do is run and put up alot of points but playoff time the get flustered with the defense and they drop the ball. I have alot of respect for Nash, his slashes to the basket and amazing court vision but if I needed a game winning shot I'd give it to Arenas 100x b4 Nash ne day,

Apparently you haven't been watching Steve Nash. Say whatever you want about him, but you cannot deny that he gets everybody involved and Phoenix wins because he distributes, directs and when necessary scores. When Amare was out, he adapted and got Boris Diaw the ball. Yes, he has Shawn Marion but outside of Marion everyone else was just a good role player. Gilbert Arenas is a shooter. A good one, but that's what he does. He would shoot all day and the other players only exist on the court to feed him the ball. That's not a the most valuable player, that's the most entertaining player. Unless Kobe can be the kind of director Steve Nash is on the floor and get undisciplined players like Kwame Brown and Andrew Bynum to play like men, he shouldn't even be considered. Kobe wouldn't have been to the finals without Shaq. He still won't get to the table without a "big man." Besides that Lamar Odom is a great player so it's not like Kobe is the only talented player on the Lakers. He's a great player but he's not the most valuable player in the league unless he can passed an entertaining playoffs.

Nash deserved his MVP and he deserves another I think. He's constantly improving himself year after year putting up career high numbers, and everyone around him has gone up as well. As for Joe Johnson, look at the team he is play on...You could put almost any player on that team and he'd look like an all star because he has too. there is no one else there to carry the team so he has to get the numbers he is or they'd never win a game. Amare was not nearly as good as he is now before he was with nash. And sure he was young then so he can only impove, i'll give you that, but he has come back from serious Knee surgury and is playing at a better level then he had before, thats because Nash makes it easy for him...What nash does out there is make everyone else's job easy, all they have to do is hit a shot because hes gonna make sure they are wide open. how can u not respect that effort? I agree kobe is a great player as well, but again i say the same thing, He's on a team where he has to be the star in order to win games, there is no one else really to carry them. Also, i think the lakers were doing better at the beginning of the summer when Kobe wasnt there...he's just too selfish and thats why he gets 81 points. (Although i will admit he has changed within this last year and plays better as a team). I'm a huge Steve Nash fan, so i'll admit my vote is kind of swayed from the beginning, but regardless there is just something you gotta respect about him and his play...he's on a team with so many all stars and he can still shine. thats saying something.

No possibility. the very perfect he might want to finally end up doing is most popular the League in scoring and most popular the Wiz back into the Playoffs as a 5 or 6 seed. If D-Wade couldn't get any authentic interest for the MVP very last season (and his crew is became a lot less proficient that Agent 0's), Arenas gained't both.

I don't think Arenas will win MVP, but he should definitely get consideration.
Kobe, Wade, Arenas, KG, Duncan, others are considered every year.
However, you are right. Steve Nash OWNS the MVP right now and will be seriously considered again this year.

I don't think the MVP has a chance of coming out of the Eastern Conference.
The teams are too strong in the West. You'll see your MVP come from one of those top teams.
I'm a huge Kobe fan. But I can see Dirk Nowitzki taking it this year if he keeps his numbers (and the Mavs record) up.

A MVP is the one person that makes his team into a great team like what Nash do now, most his team mates has double digits points, see any other team with that kind of results.
Yeah, I think he deserve with his performance but do you notice his other team mates?
I only remember Suns starters as they all shoot so well as they're all team show, not one man show.
