No. Not at all. You are not paranoid. Majority of builders have joined secret society, where the knowledge of the Morse code is a necessity & are going to get you.

I guess that would depend on knowing the whole situation. Did you say something to the roofers or perhaps translate something in "Morse Code" yourself to instigate it? If not then I have no explaination as to why they would respond like this. Unless you know them and will be running into them again, I wouldn't be paranoid.

You've been watching way too much Jericho on CBS. They use morse code at the beginning of the show that are actual messages, but you already know that, don't you, lol.

Morse code is not done with the voice. it is done with lights, or dots and dashes. as in DOT dash DOT dash or Dash Dot Dash--can't remember which way means SOS. But yea, I'd say that one you need to find out.
