I am not sure if the fireplace you have is like most other units, if it is then it is not that difficult. At the bottom of your fireplace their should be an access door that you open at the bottom of your fireplace, inside you will see the controls that operate the fireplace. Look for one that has a button that has the word pilot on it then turn this button until you have the word pilot aligned with a marker that is part of the gas valve ,it might be a silver metal pin that sticks out by the button. You may have to depress the button a tiny bit to get it to turn. Once you have the word pilot in its proper position fully depress the button & at the same time start to rapidly depress another round button to create a spark that button will be either black or red & should be in the same area of your gas valve. Once you have done this the pilot should light if their are no problems with your unit or the gas is not shut off somewhere. If you get the pilot to light keep the pilot button fully depressed for about one minute, then release it & your pilot should stay on. if it does then turn the pilot button to the on position & your fireplace should come on. You might also look for the lighting instructions that maybe attached to a plate in the bottom of your fireplace Good Luck.
