i took a test but does your grades count and if you shadowed at a school does that help?

If you are British, I'd tell you that you need nothing to get into a state Catholic school. They should admit you regardless of your religious standing as they have an obligation to take a percentage of pupils from other backgrounds.

If you're American, a big bank account and perhaps proof that you're an active member in church would help you gain admittance.
