The welsh are darker looking, their the only Britons left, The Irish are Irish Celts, Scotland depends the borders and lowlands are mixed the highlands and islands have viking heritage, the English are Anglo-Saxons. There are other places to - Cornwall, the isle of man- and those places are their own people - Manx and those from Kernow etc. so there's more to Britain that you think.


why two thumbs down!? do your history!!! I'm a white female of Anglo-Saxon/Pict descent with a huge interest in history and because of this I've read books on the subject I don't appreciate my knowledge being thumbed down by some ignorant fool. silly silly people.

you cant there is no difference all 4 ethnicities have intermarried and intermixed with each other over the years Most British people are Mongrels they are a mixture of English Irish Scottish and Welsh they are British Mongrels the majority of English people have English Irish Scottish and Welsh ancestry its very common for people in England too be a mixture of all 4 ethnicities.

Just for Hottie, my husband is English and a tad over 6'2". Short my Ar**. I don't know what 'a welsh' is either, but Welsh people are kind and lovely people who aren't shallow enough to worry about your stupid comment. Ignorance is a wonderful thing!!

in terms of ways somebody seems, there are purely some modifications, some human beings say celtic human beings have very gentle and mushy features, yet lower back, not lots now. while somebody says "i'm 0.5 British and 0.5 Irish" they're many times speaking approximately lifestyle and what impression this has had on their lives somewhat then what they appear as if.

The great thing is, you can't. Not unless their accent gives it away, and even then it's not 100% certain. They may have grown up in one place and lived most their adult life in another. Not to mention how diverse their parents may have been. Since such countries are so close together, we all mix about a bit. I think it's great!

the english put milk into their tea first, before pouring and the scots put the tea in first and the milk in last .......the irish believe in lepricorns .....and the welsh are good at singing in choirs or growing leeks.

Well, the Englishman will be wearing a bowler hat, the Scotsman will be wearing the kilt and playing bagpipes, the Irishman will be drinking Guinness and fighting whilst the Welshman will be fondling a sheep.
