Don't hear this too often?

Actually I was not intended to use this... more of a generally polling question.

I like the name Noel. But there are a lot of hideous names out there that are not bug names..... fun to think of possible cute ones that could be bug-associated. Butterfly, Chrysallis, Arachne, Amelora, Honeybee. Actually Melissa and Deborah are derived from bees.

i think it'd be cute as a nickname..

but then again, it's not as bad as "Audio Science".. that's the name actress Shannyn Sossamon gave her son.

Cricket is cute as a nick name, but think about all the roles your daughter will play in her life. Will she be taken seriously if her resume says Cricket?

I really like it. But she'd better have a really normal name for a middle name, like Anne or Anna or something, so she could go by that if she wanted to, and for later in life if she wants a professional job. Cricket's soooo cute, but I bet my husband would never have gone for it.

Maybe as a nickname, but not for an actual name. Kids from school may make fun of your child.

It's not my taste. The two things that come to mind are a bug and a game. Sorry

No offense, but I think the little one would be made fun of, i just don't want your child to be hurt, but if that's what you really wish to have as a name then so be it.

It's a cute NICKNAME, not too sure on actually naming her Cricket! Sorry.
