http://www.SideStep.Com it is a search engine for travel, and it will search most of the sites out there, including Orbitz, PriceLine, Expedia, CheapTickets, and Consolidator Travel Agencies.
It will find the best prices 90% of the time. Once you find an airlines go to the airline's site and compare, it could be 3 to 10 dollars cheaper there.

Whenever i fly, i book through Flight Centre, and they are pretty cheap.
www.webjet.com.au has some pretty cheap flights too. i havent booked anything through them as of yet, but im flying out in september so thats probably gonna be the best bet.
