My first baby I delivered at 37 weeks. I had NO contractions to tell me I was in labor. I just woke up one morning with a VERY slight backache and went in to see my doctor. I knew I had already been thinned out and had been dilated to a 2 the week before. When she checked me that day I was 5-6 cm and I was told to walk over to L&D. I was hooked up to the monitors and was having some good contractions but didnt feel them at all. Three hours later my daughter was born. I am 35 weeks and 2 days pg with my second and curious if you guys think that things will happen similar to the way they did before. I am just worried that I will be in labor and have NO IDEA AGAIN...i would have never known with the first if i hadnt gone into my doctor that day!

you're lucky you didn't have the long painful labor, it could happen again, but as I'm sure you know, labor is different for everyone and each labor is different. As long as you keep your doctors appts. they will be checking everything, and if they are aware of your previous labor experience I'm sure they will keep a closer watch this time. I wish you luck in another easy obviously pain free labor.

i don't love repeating an same blunders, have become careful of that now, more effective than even as i became youthful, so might want to do it a pair cases on the most, and after I see no consequences, bypass on to a special approach or something diverse.

you can never say for sure that this labor will be the same as your last but it very well may be... but yours could be like mine and be in labor for 32 hours with 2 epidurals and still felt pain

Both of my labors were diffrent. So you have a good chance of yours being different.

Every L&D is different... but i really have no idea, you'd have to ask your doctor.
