I have the urge but I DO NOT FIGHT IT.... I jump right in and tackle him while he wraps. He screams bloody murder and l leave the room laughing.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh life is good when you can have soooo much fun with your spouse !!!

Sad, but my spouse buys me the worst gifts....I have to fight the urge not to take it back more than peeking.

Yes, but I fight it off by thinking of how crappy I'd feel while they watched me open a present I already knew about. I did this a few times as a kid and I felt so guilty afterward.

No, but now that my kids are grown, they have this habit of giving me my gifts BEFORE my birthday, Christmas, etc. It's a real bummer when you have nothing to open on the actual day, but I open them when the kids ask me to - got to make them happy, after all, now don't we? GRRRR
