I believe that if you can not raise the child (finacially) or give it a home it is acceptable. Also if there is a medical condition of the mother to where a child could not be brought into this world without harmig the mother in such a way to effect the rest of her life. I fell the way I do because I know people who have had an abortion for many different reasons. Husbands were beating them and they couldnt bring a child into the world. I had a friend who had a medical condition that would physically disable her the rst of her life.

If you are asking because you are thinking about one for yourself it is a very personal choice. I would never tell someone I do not know at all what to do with her body.

And if you are pregnant I will not answer this knowing I could influence you one way or an other.
Visit a few prochoice sites and non and decide for yourself.

Good luck, If your question was just to see the majority of answers here I am sorry I still wouldn't answer because I feel that is a private thing.

Yes I believe in a woman's right to choose. If a woman is raped she especially should have the right to terminate the pregnancy. I am not going to get into on here because of religious freaks and lifers who believe that a child is a child. Thats your right, but I do not agree. I would only disagree if it is over 4 months along. I do not believe in those types of abortions

I don't believe in it at all.

I alwasy thought I did until I stopped by these boards and read about how many 13 year old kids were having sex! I no longer believe it's an option and think very very poorly of those women who do have one.

HOWEVER... abortion and elective termination of a pregnancy because of a severe birth defect are completely different things. For example, it's done in a hospital under care of an OB/GYn and not at some baby killing clinic!

I am for abortion. Every woman has the right to choose to have one or not for whatever reason.

1)If the mothers life were in danger
2)If you were raped or molested
3)If someone is just too young to have a kid
4)If something terrible was wrong with the fetus and would be born just to suffer a horrible life then i would have an abortion if that happened to me.
5)If someone just couldn't handle having another kid, knew they couldn't take care of it or just didn't want it. Better abortion than neglecting a child that they did not want.

Every abortion kills an innocent human being. Killing innocent human beings is never acceptable. For more information, see:

I think that if you think you are responsible enough to lay down and spread your legs for a guy, then you should be responsible enough to take care of that child and love it the same. Now with rape....... I have no clue what I would tell you in that category. Me myself, even though I had no choice on the laying down, I would still keep it. It is still a part of me. And I don't want to kill a part of myself. But That is just how I feel. Others may feel different....

If you really want to know...

1. Type "abortion" into the "Search for questions" box.

2. Go through the 12,000 questions that have already been asked. I'm sure you'll find your answer!

I'm pro-choice. When does life begin? There isn't a single scientifically proven answer. Until there is one I don't think there should be a law created to prevent it. After all this country has people of all different religions and they all have different opinions--why base a LAW on merely opinions?

I think that a woman has a right to decide what she wants to do. If a woman is comfortable with getting this done, then she should; but if she isn't , then she shouldn't. I think it all depends on the individual situation and no one needs to judge that person for what she is doing. She has her reasons and that's good enough for her.

Who am I to judge who's right or wrong?

For me, it would be wrong. Not only does it go against my religious beliefs, but it goes against my moral beliefs, as well.

It is always a woman's choice, though, and like I said, it's not within my right to judge. I don't feel that it should be used as a method of birth control, and wish that laws would only allow it in extenuating circumstances (rape, fetal malformation, or other problem).

Perhaps, then, people would be more careful to avoid an "unwanted" pregnancy.
