First of all, you cannot really sterilize a piercing gun. The parts are too close together to properly get into there. And to the idiot who said that you wouldn't bleed from a cartilage piercing, did you forget about the skin involved? Seriously, if you don't know anything about the topic, must you post?

The chances of blood actually being on the gun is pretty small. However, the chances of you getting a disease (like hepatitis) is actually somewhat high. Go to a professional. Every single time. It costs a little bit more, but in the end going to the hospital to fix your shattered cartilage or your infected piercing will cost you more.

non its not true about claire. I got my cardlige pierced there and it wasent a needle they arent supposed to the use this special kind of tool that has the earing you want and its a stapler looking kind of thing

I wouldn't think so. First, ear lobes have cartilage in them, so you probably wouldn't bleed in the first place. Other than that, health inspections are regulatory at places such as Claire's, meaning they will probably have to sterilize after each use.

No it's clean but if they arn't they actulay would have to close down the store because someone has used snothers blood.
