I mean when you look at clear glass from the side, its green

I think it is how/where it's manufactured. There is now new glass that is completely clear, when looking at the ends. It came out (in our area at least) a year or two ago. Costs more though.

Not all transparent glass is green. Some is clear, blue, red, or yellow. Transparent simply means it allows light to pass through it.

Not all of it is. It depends on the minerals in the glass.
And yes, the word "transparent" just means that light can pass through it unhindered.

i'm going to guess that molecular structure of glass makes it hard for green light to pass through glass. or is it the other way around
