Nope not a scam. I have purchased many items off of ebay and sellers can set their starting price at anything they want. It is the final bid at the end that counts.

Sure the starting price is less than a dollar but do you think it will stay that way for very long? Lets say you bid a dollar, someone else will see that is a steal of a price and bid $2. Someone else will see that and might bid $10. Soon the bidding will be $50, $100, $150, etc. You might want to click on the "watch this item on my ebay" and see how much these units end up going for. I think you will see that most end up going for much more than the retail price.

This is not a scam. The price will jump considerably as the end time gets closer, and more people place their bids!! Take a look at the ones ending soon. You will see what the starting bids were at the start of the auction.

No no thats the starting price for the bidding. It depends on how much the Wii auctions for and then it adds on a $30.00 shipping tax. One of them had a purchasing price of $200 when the starting bid was only $0.01
