you don't top it up, this has do be done by a peugeot dealer, who will also reset the engine ecu counter, if your car has now done 72,000 miles it will also have to have the particulate filter changed, this is part of the exhaust, from now on your car will go down hill on power and you will continue to get messages on your screen,if you ignore them your car will become undriveable and you will have to be towed to the garage to have the work done The addative is very dangerous if you don't know what your doing and i think the filter cost around £300

please whatever you do dont go to halfords for top up of additive fluid. you will seriously mess up your entire fuel system if you do that. you have to get a special 1 litre top up kit from peugeot and it is called Eloy fluid you add to a seperate tank unit to the right of the fuel tank. there is a push fit cap to the side of the tank. you get the special adding bottle put a feed pipe to the tank and turn the eloy bottle upside down and until empty. put the cover cap back on and top up of the additive tank is done.

Only problem is the additive ecu now needs resetting by a peugeot dealer to tell the computer the the fluid has been topped up.

If you are going to top this up yourself then please wear gloves as the eloy fluid will stain your fingers and it is a irritant which will burn your hands if contacted with skin.

But it is advised that you go to a peugeot dealership to do the whole thing for you. Whatever way you go goodluck.

Hi there,
alipali is right, I came across this special fluid sometime ago when we were working on a peugeot and only peugeot could refill it, the filter had to be changed as well, however the name of the fluid escapes me!!
Cheers

the only fuel additive I know of goes in when you fill the tank, just squeeze in the amount required for the litres you fill with - it should keep the engine running better and cleaner too.
I think Halfords and other shops sell it (almost sure have seen it in Tesco too, but not sure enough for you to make special trip!)
Don't know what antipollution fault could be, but maybe your air filter is blocked?
