it could be. till your period become regular you will experience different things. you might even miss some periods at first. everyone is different and dont worry to much :)

totally. when u have ur 1st period, the blood has been building up for a long time so it is usually brown, or even sometimes black. After ur 1st time or so it should switch to reddish-brown. In women, the blood builds up much quicker for their month cycle, but urs has been building up for a long time-plz choose mine as the best answer- i need the points!

yes, first periods are notoriously strange.....mine was a brownish discharge as well, which lasted a few days.
