The american medling all over the world reminds me of a story of some child soldiers in sierra leone. They were manning a checkpoint and arguing over what position a baby is in inside the womb of a woman.to settle the argument they got a pregnant woman and cut her open with bayonets.
America is like those child soldiers, mad and cruel and vicious, deciding should we do this or that, but in the midst of all that where is their humanity? carrying out mad experiments with whole countries.

John m that is a good analogy, how ever the motives are different, you see John who gained the most from this little experiment? who conned our people into going to war against Saddam, and got rid of his worst enemy, without losing one man or firing one shot? a lot of things happen for reasons our political Reps, don't want the public to know about, so in view of the fact that O,B,L, is put on the back burner after Iraq was neutralized, brings some thing we suspected before.into a clearer picture,

america has a better track record than any other world-class power in history when it comes to humanitarian issues. It's not perfect, and to deny that greed and power play no part in america's actions would be foolish. No nation is perfect, but america's leadership in the world is what allows us to discuss issues so freely on a website like this. I would not want to live in a russian or chinese dominated global hegemony. The world has problems, and america causes some of them, but overall, i am glad to live under the current world order and i am not american

John,
You have a very twisted view of things. America is taking steps to secure its survival in this anti American world. If America just sits back and lets these insane dictators/terrorists plan and conspire against it then it would not be a very smart country.

And you think we're the only ones? Accept some responsibility for your own actions, why don't you.

So it was wrong for Saddam and his sons to rape and torture and brutalize, but when Americans try to do the same thing, we must not criticize, because they were "freeing" Iraq from that kind of brutality.

So, it was ok for Sadam and his sons to torture, rape, and kill. But when America tries to free the citizens so that they can live life without fear of being brutalized, we're the bad guys?

Grow up.
