Waiting for the spring every hour of the day now that theoretically our area has passed the lowest temperatures time of the year i.e. average daily temp of -15 deg C.
The best thing I like about the spring is that I can actually start doing things in the backyard garden rather than just thinking about it.Spring is time to get new shrubs, start the bare root roses, start vegetable seed or work with the ones already started, prune those trees and shrubs that are due for pruning at spring time, get ready the garden tools and many such things. It is the most wonderful time for gardeners and specially for Zone 5.

I work in a nursery and I will be glad to see spring because I am sick of the cold. I like the longer days and I love it when we get in truckloads of plants. Being able to work in shirtsleeves instead of raingear and two hooded sweatshirts is a real plus. We are getting our bare root trees in a couple of weeks and our roses are coming next week, hope they survive til the weather warms up. I love seeing forsythias and crocus and daffodils and hyacinths. It makes me feel good to see all the trees leafing out and I know it will be a long time before winter arrives again. Can we just push the fast forward button and have it be spring when we get up tomorrow?

I'm looking forward for Happy New Year with SRK since KANK did not really impress me in the direction-wise of the movie (i mean by Karan Johar direction). Don's not really my style and i think SRK does not suit police, army or villains roles. I guess I have quite some time to wait though..

Yoooooooooooooou BETCHA I'm looking forward to Spring, I look forward to not having to wear a coat to go outside, I look forward to not having to shovel snow or scrape windows or plug the car in. I also look forward to being able to drive normally without fear of someone else sliding on ice and wrecking my car. Even more, I look forward to the arrival of the Robins, spring rains, dandelions, planning the garden, and BBQ's
