Well, one option is to use an equally insultive racial slur befitting their ethnicity and go from there, but most people who use racial slurs only know the slurs for the races they dislike and won't realize you were insulting them, or they would and try to attack you. Either way, the out come is not good.

Another option you have, though it can be a bit tricky, is to humilitate your insulter by opening yourself up to the insults and making worse ones at your own expense to prove your insulter is stupid.

The only example of this I can think of is from a play called "Cerinos de Burigac" (modernized into a movie called "Roxanne", starring Steve Martin), the main character of which has a rather large nose. Though a gifted swords-man, Cerinos choose to humiliate any who dare make fun of his nose by making worse jokes only intelligant, whitty people could make.

I suppose the modern example of what he does is if someone came up to you and said "You're stupid", and you replied with "Is that the BEST you can do? 'You're stupid.' You could at least have said 'Excuse me, but your village just called and their idiot is missing.' That, at least, would have been worth the time and effort it took me to give a ****, but you're going to stand there and expect me to get upset over something a kindergardner would say? Are you going to call me a 'doody-head' next or can I go get my dad to beat up your dad?"

Just remember, people resort to off-color insults and curse when they can't think of anything better to say. The trick to coming out the victor is to not let the insults get to you and to always have something better to say.

The best answer to me is no answer at all. If some one called you the "N" word there not even worth talking too period. Don't waste your breath save it for some real intelligent conversation or blowing out a candle to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. birthday.

I have found that just smiling and staring is the best thing to do because it is more a reflection on the name callers character than you.

You also have to understand the physcology of why the person is calling you that he is trying to illicit a vicious response a smile and a stare that's all you need.

well if someone called me a porch monkey or spea chucker i would cuss them out but if someone called me a ***.ger i would kick there as.s just for the simple fact the ***.ger in my opinion is the worst racial slur it was used to degrade and opress my ancestors during slavery, so if i get called that i feel like they are trying to say i deserve to be a slave

don't even go down to their level. completely not worth it. But if you just have to say something, call them wattever the negative term for their race is. But engaging in this type of conversation is extremely pointless.
