In the summer I love to wake up and watch the sun rise out my kitchen window, while the sprinkler is spraying all over my front lawn, and the birds are chirping, I can hear the faint sound of people in traffic a mile away in the city, and the house has all the shades wide open, but it's still just the right balance of dark for me...♥

After a rainstorm and I can look out any window in the house and watch the clouds as they hover over the mountains. Everything is cleansed and wonderful. The fresh smell in the air. The tiny droplets you hear fall from the roof and the water that streaks down your window now that the storm has passed. The silence as everything takes a moment to realize it's safe to come out again and resume life as it should be.

A crisp fall day, when the temp is about 65, the sun is pouring ilke honey over the changing trees and you can get a faint whiff of woodsmoke. I feel alive and invigorated! I also love that moment, when you are snug in your bed with your sweetheart, holding them and drifting off to sleep....one of my favorite moments of the day.....such a wonderful thing to love each other....and dream with eachother, too!

when i hold a sleeping baby. i dont know why, theres just something so precious about the way theire little lips move when they sleep like theyre sucking on a bottle. or how perfect their tiny little fingers feel wrapped around my finger, or just to see how long their eyelashes are. it gives me hope. good question ♥

the one day a week i get to sleep in. when it's cold and i'm snuggled in 3 blankets, abd i've got time to just lay there.
