I have never seen dust or things that are dirty in other's homes, yet I clean my home like people are coming over to inspect. How closely do you look at other's (like friends and family)homes and what have you seen? Does it have to be over the top nasty for you to notice or do you see every little thing?

It has to be over the top nasty, or at least pretty messy. People with kids get a break, though, because I know how they can be. If they don't have any kids and the place is still a mess then they're just slobs. They can still be cool slobs, though.

My friend's couch was so nasty I crashed on it one night and woke up the next day with zits on my lip that looked like herpes. My face was all oily, too. That couch was more diseased than the monkey from "Outbreak." They're cool, but some of the biggest slobs on the Earth.

I had an acquaintance who was nosy, so right there within 2 minutes of his coming in, I told him can we talk outside and slammed the door on him. He got the big hint. He never dared knock on the door.

I had another female visitor who was equally nosy and nit picky. My house is not dirty nor is it immaculately clean but with her I told her directly if I go to her home right now, and check her bedroom will it be as bad as what she thinks of my bedroom? She shut up real fast. She refused my requests to go to her house soon after that.

I have seen so many insides of the house. I never liked houses that are too clean and prissy clean because I know the people living there for the most part, "fake", and pretentious. Unless they have a maid and super rich.

I wanna see the real person in their natural environment. Of course, a sty of a house is not good either. One can always excuse themselves with an urgent appointment that you forgot.

Yes I do notice all the little details that they problem don't notice. I love a clean clean house. I hate things unorganized..while I'm in there home I am always thinking..I would improve it by doing things if I had two seconds at it.

I'm a neat freak. I even have everything white in my house so it always looks clean. I can't stand dark furniture.

I don't inspect but I have been invited over to a party or whatever and if the bathroom is really bad, I wonder why they left it that way for company.

It would have to be really nasty for me to notice. Most of the time I just don't pay attention to how clean their house is.

I always go on the way their bathroom and kitchen look...I think those are the two most important things in a home...But, I dont pay attention to every little detail...

I am very neat but I don't really mind if my friends houses are messy or not. Its not like I live there...If I sleep over, I tend to clean up a bit. I CANT HELP IT!

Peace:
Amanda

A clean house isn't a home. My house will be clean and tidy when my children leave home, sounds like OCD to me

I am guilty of judging other people's houses. If something is out of place I do notice. Sometimes I just want to clean their houses if it is too bad.

i think it would have to be over the top to notice. But if you are more comfortable cleaning like you do, go ahead and do it if it makes you happy
