What's the difference between boy and boi in gayspeak? I've used both terms before but i wasn't sure if there was a specific meaning behind either of them.

a child with no parenting,, thats what i would call him. Most would call him a bad boy though. I think the term bad boy is used way to lightly. Women/ girls, tend to toss it around lightly when calling someone a bad boy. It may just mean they like them, or that guy turns them on, etc. The difference between a bad boy and someone who is flat out trouble, is that one tries and the other doesnt. Hope this helps

I'd say you are a dude. A bit aggressive, sarcastic, cynical....all good characteristics in my book.

I've never heard the term boi/boy used in gayspeak. In the military we'd call the "wimps" ...boy.

I' ve heard that boi is a term for women who are genderqueer. So if you are a gay girl with a genderqueer girl you would call her your " Boifriend" but not girlfriend.

honestly they are one in the same. I dont like the terms personally because to me they seem very degrading. Why would any adult want to be called boy?

Yeah, it's called "Creative Spelling" and victims of the public education system.

I hate those cutsie terms: boi, gurl, womyn...whatever happened to good old fashioned PROPER SPELLING?

Where are we? The English Renaissance?
