a million. there is no virus that runs on a Unix operating equipment like OS X. Unix structures are very virus unfriendly. 2. Unix structures can get different kinds of malware. especially they can get trojans which trick the consumer into installation them. indexed right here are some suggestion: a million. verify in to WOT. this can fee internet sites and quite placed a caution up if the region has a foul popularity. 2. Use the firefox browser and installation no-script. No-script will stay away from scripts from operating except you ok them. 3. be positive to save the version of OS X and any software or Firefox upload-ons up to this point. 4. installation an anti-malware application at the same time with Sophos or ProtectMac. 5. Create a separate account that has no administrator privileges to apply for non-administrative initiatives. 6. Use the firewall to dam unneeded ports. 7. Use reliable passwords.

Yes, anything that it hooked up to the internet can get a virus, just it is rare that someone would write a virus for a Mac, since most people have PCs

Do u have limewire, or anyother thing like that that could slow it down.
I got limewire, then it slowed my computer down a bunch!!!

what site were u at?

yes...and u will start seeing more and more as the more ppl switch to mac
there was no viruses because no one really used them
now
alot of ppl are getting mac's....and u better believe u can and most likely will become infected sometime while surfing or downloading
i forget where i seen it but i googled virus and macs
and found a 10 minute video that shows hackers cracking a mac
he is the one that said macs were not targeted because they didnt have enough ppl to bother with...so...
this is just my suggestion..ive never used a mac b4
but i would atleast look into clamwin or something for mac security
]id rather be safe now then have to worry about how to remove a virus from a mac

You should what your friend in the kneecaps a few times until he kneels on the ground and begs your forgivness.

The only browser that is remotely safe on the MAC is Firefox or Opera.

If you used Safari or the Internet Explorer, you might have caught a virus - if you used Internet Explorer you definitely caught a virus.

Go and get the CLAM Anti Virus for the MAC:
