How would i search for an old friend of my dad's. All I have is a name and where he comes from?

Try intelius.com if you know the first and last names and the last name is not too common. They'll ask for the city and state, so just put in the ones that you know. I have found a large number of people using that site. The only drawback is that if you find the person you are seeking listed, you must pay a fee (less than $10) to get his actual address and telephone number, but it may be worth that amount if you really want the information. Hi I found my dad and my husbands mum through genes reunited. A woman called Margaret Drummond contacted me and said she would help, we had very little information but she has the knowledge of how to get information. You may be able to find both the address and phone number of your dad's friend in the US, by looking on ZabaSearch. Just enter the name of the person whom you're searching for, and select the State to look in.

you could try advertising in the paper of where he is from and anyone with info could contact you via the paper! i see stuff like that all the time in my local paper!
