Ovulation happens at least 10-16 days before the onset of your next period. Ovulation is what triggers your next period. It is not possible to ovulate and get pg any closer to your next period than 10-16 days.

I got pregnant the day I was supposed to start my period and I did not have a period. But it is common for some women to have a period shortly after getting pregnant.

you can only get pregnant during ovulation, which is generelly days 10-14, day 1 being the first day of your period for that month, and so on. So you cant really get pregnant a couple of days before your period cos you wouldnt be ovulating.

it is possible to get pregnant at any time of the month - set ovulatin days are an estimate - it's different for every woman, and it's possible to release more than one egg, even at different times.

if you're pregnant, you shouldn't have a period, but it has been documented that women have what they think is their period and are infact pregnant. taking a test is the only way to be sure.
