The travel would cost too much to support a true world football league. But I could see NFL Europe getting big enough to host a championship between the two leagues.

There already was a World Football League. That turned into the NFL Europe League (which is a developmental system more or less). London wanted to get a regular game next season, so the league is setting one up for Wembley Stadium. There was already a regular season game in Mexico last year as well as exhibition games in Mexico and Japan.

If the world wants us to pick up their football (soccer), then they should look at our style ... it hurts more!

They'll keep trying, but it won't happen. The same reason soccer has never taken off in the US, the NFL won't in the rest of the world.

While soccer is played by kids through Pony League to college here, there aren't enough fans willing to support major league soccer in America in, say Oklahoma City or Peoria. In Europe, it's a club level sport that isn't offered in most schools, so that's a big difference.....

Not sure what in the world you are reffering to. Last year the Colts played in Japan. NFL Europe has been around for awhile.

Do you know what you are talking about?

No this is not the beginning of the World Football League.

No. There are 332 games total in each NFL season, including preseason, regular season, postseason, and pro bowl. They have approved hosting 2 games outside the US each year. 330/2... big world football league...

No. It's just another lame attempt to sell American football to another country. They've had professional football games in Mexico and Japan and neither of those countries are going football crazy yet. The NFL will remain a US thing. Soccer belongs to the rest of the world.

No, NFL is simply not popular enough across the globe. The odd game may be played outside the US, but the game has to make itself popular, not just hope it will happen

World Football League already went out of business years ago.

No way. No other country could produce the athletes necessary for American Football. It is just to have more fans around the world. Which, of course, equals more money.
