I believe he has alot more talent than most people give him credit for. He did amazing things in Florida and when he gets comfortable, he looks as good as any QB in the game. He has had a rough season but I think he could develop into a tremondous QB.

Even after a good game on sunday most the press still were hard on him and didnt mention he threw from a touchdown they DID mention he threw an INT though which really shouldnt had been one.

He has been too inconsistent this year, but when he has settled down and doesn't try to force the ball into coverage, he becomes the solid QB that Jerry Angelo wanted since drafting him in 2003. If you look at his numbers, he outperformed Manning, Brady, Rivers, Hasselbeck, and was on par with Brees and Garcia. The media is a duoble-edged sword. Last year, they praised Kyle Orton's play as a rookie until he lost a couple games. Then, the media turned on him like a rabid dog. Ignore the media and stick with the team.. Remember, the team plays the game, not the reporters.

Grossman will have another solid game against the Saints and go to the Super Bowl this year.

Probably, but that the nature of being the QB for the Bears. Much like what A-Rod goes through with the Yanks. Anytime you are a high profile player for sports-rabid town you are going to get eaten if you under-perform. Rex has had great games and had a good first half last week. But his inconsistency has plagued him this season and will until he proves otherwise. No doubt he has the talent. It appears to be more a psychological issue with him.

Yes and it comes with the territory. A quarterback in the NFL, there are not very many people let alone great athletes that can make it to the NFL let alone play quarterback. He is under a microscope on and off the football field at all times. He plays in one of the biggest sports markets in our country. The guy has to deal with ignorant fans, relentless media pressure and all the pressure he puts on himself. This guy has handled himself with total class all year. He doesn't wine, he doesn't call out his teamates or place blame on anyone except himself when they lose. With all that said I think he's done a pretty damn good job. If I were on that team, he would have my total respect. I would be proud to go to war every Sunday with Rex Grossman. GO BEARS!!!

Rex Grossman is inconsistent, but give him a break, it's his first year as a full-time starter. In his first season as a full-time starter, Tom Brady completely missed the playoffs, and now he's one of the best QB's in the NFL! He will be good come a few years.

Yeah i think he does get way too much crap i mean he does have his bad games and really bad games but this is his first year as the starter and he did have a good season during the first half and pep fail to relize hes still young all he needs is time he'll be fine. Although i hope he has a bad game sunday b/c i want the saints to win.

Grossman is not much more than a rookie QB in the NFL, considering all the time he's missed with injuries. He has a big arm, and just needs to cut the dumb mistakes. He has a great offensive line and running game, so he just needs patience.....

I think so. The only INT he had Sunday was tipped, and the Bears won the game. Rex played a solid game and I think the media are being too hard on him.
