Man, why would you want to use that old technology? Get on the pill.

Yes it is easy, but you need to follow the directions. It must be left in for 24 hrs. after intercourse, and use it with spermicidal jelly. I had a problem because I am prone to bladder infections. The diaphragm pushes up against the bladder, for a whole day. I had near constant UTI's, but once I stopped using the diaphragm, the UTI's stopped. Also, there is some research that suggests spermicidal jelly can cause birth defects if you do get pregnant while using it. All things considered, I think Natural Family Planning is the way to go. It's really not that hard, and it 99% effective, as well as 100% natural.

Yes, a diaphragm is fairly easy to use. When all the instructions are followed it is generally effective. Remember that like all contraceptives, it is not effective 100% of the time

Its easy to use, but you would need to use a spermicidal gel as well. I developed urinary tract infections too, over and over again.

Tried the cervical cap, body had an allergy to that. I don't know if it still available, but it certainly was better than diaphram.

Either/or will need to keep in 24 hours. Odour may get a little indelicate.

Talk to your doc. or go to a clinic. Pill is a last resort. I found it affected many other things to do with my body.

Relatively easy to use, and as effective as other methods.
