In the next 20 years I imagine there will be a huge ethical debate over nanotechnology and it's uses (particularly regarding grey goo and the Santa Claus machines).
I also predict that computers will become lightning fast by use of nanotechnology, and a lot of mind-boggling developments in that field of study. There will also be huge advancements in the field of physics in the next 10 years (beginning in 2008) with the new Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.
In the near future, baby names like Aiden, Braden, Caiden, Hunter, and Caleb will be laughed at as the "Vanilla Ice" or "New Kids on The Block" of Baby Names.
...or to quote the jock from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: "Everything is different, but the same... things are more moderner than before... bigger, and yet smaller... it's computers... San Dimas High School football rules!"
...or to quote Johnny Lydon (a.k.a. Johnny Rotten), There is "no future."

first there will be a 7 year tribulation. the first 3.5 years of it will be peacefull, the second half will be horible with one man ruling the one world government. an thus the whole world. then the battle of armigenon, then the melenial (spelled wrong) period, a melenium of peace.then a "little season" then the white throne judgement. then an eternity of peace with no sin. (heaven). just incase my memory fails me, the battle might be after the melenial period. dont htink so though.
after the white throne jugement a firely ferverant will flow through the heavens (the universe) and remake everything. there will no longer be large bodies of water on the earth, the oceans, i think we will still have large lakes, just o oceans, i think.

the human race will hit its peak around 2100 then by 2200 it will all fall apart there wil be cannibalism and savagery tribal wars and decomposed speech no educations and complete destruction man will go extinct by 2450
