I've been this way for over a year and its annoying to see people making fun of emo kids and music. Okay she painted her nails black...and thats IT. No outrageous hair or clothes or jewelry...JUST NAILS! And Shes like "Look!! I'm Emo!!" and its actually rude to be doing that. I feel like slapping her. Then when someone asked her..."Why are your nails painted black??" She goes..."Oh im EMO now..." but she was joking around and laffing. She wears mini skirts n is a giant prep. This other girl that I noe has been spreading around that shes emo...and she never was and now she comes up...Oh im not emo anymore...people just cant DO that!!
So I want to noe wat to do. Im not letting it be because she needs to learn a lesson. Im not taking it. Any advice??

the next time this stupid @ss does it, look here right in the eye and say "You'll never pull it off as good as I can. and besides, I like the way I am. at least I'M not the one trying to be a clone. I'm just myself." don't let those stupid little snots make you feel like $hit. I have no idea what EMO is, but be yourself, and say to hell with everyone else who has a problem with it. you are you, and you're not trying to be some self absorbed clone like this girl you're talking about. she's what I like to call a "Social terrorist" if your not like them, then there is something wrong with you, so they try to "take you down" so to speak. hope this helps.

First of all, she isn't friends with this girl at all. Second of all, she doesn't need to be told to grow up. You people are supposed to H E L P others . . . not make them feel worse. Third thing, the thing is that this 'prep' is painting her nails black and saying "Oh, I'm so eeeeemmmmoooo." -- Everybody get that? The asker isn't saying she has a problem with the so called 'nail polish' at all. I don't see anywhere that it says that.
What she is saying is that what the girl is doing is upsetting her . . . the fact that she is simply making fun of the whole emo thing. A L L that she did was color her nails B L A C K and she called herself E M O.

Relax and enjoy those black nails it no big deal, lots of young/old girls paint there nail black. No your not emo , but your reaction are so stay calm (yes easier said than done) it will blow over someday, but if you can't take it anymore then change the color. Remember if your different you are going to be tease. Don't hang out where they are, kick it somewhere else.

You'll never be emo. Emo came and went before anyone knew what it was. My girlfriend paints her nails black every now and then and it's hot. Not emo.

Okay I have no clue what EMO is. For some of us clueless people you could have explained better what it is you are talking about. I' am getting you are bummed because someone classifies her as a stereotype. So, who cares, she doesn't seem to be to bothered by it or she would take off the polish. Get over it, she can be whatever she wants to be. Your the one with the problem....because you can not accept people for who they are. If you can't handle it get new friends.
