Slapshot 1 has got to be the best hockey movie out there, unless you consider the weird hockey scenes in Strange Brew a 'hockey movie', then we have another hockey classic on our hands.

Mystery, Miracle, and Mighty Ducks all are good movie stories, but none will become the legend Slapshot is. If you showed up to a costume party in a Chiefs jersey with thick glasses....people know who you are. The movie, at least in Canada, has become part of society.

I, personally, love hockey. I liked all three of these movies, but I'm gonna have to go with Slap Shot. It's the best! Miracle would come in a close second.

Hands down Slap Shot. Miracle is a great feel good American sports story, but the original Slap Shot is a classic hockey movie.

Hard to say... Mighty Ducks is a kids movie with that happy, schmaltzy ending. Miracle recounts the greatest true moment in Hockey history ever. And Slapshot? I love Paul Newman! Let's not forget Youngblood! Rob Lowe's butt!

I think Mystery,Alaska was the best hockey movie ever made. I thought that Slap Shot was the funniest but is dated. Mighty Ducks was too family oriented. Miracle had too much propaganda. I feel that a movie about Gretzky would do well especially in Canada.

Slap Shot 1 is the best hockey movie of the choices. It wasn't a Disney feel good story about kids, college or real. It was old time hockey with painfully dated clothes, it immortalized bad 70's fashion.
