The world will most certainly end when the sun grows older, starts to lose energy and swells out to become a red giant. In doing so it's surface will be out to Mars's orbit and the Earth will be completely consumed.

If you're asking when I think humanity will end, well, that's a different story and the answer is much sooner.

the bible says that the rapture (beginning of the end of the world, itl take just over 7 years) will happen exactly 2000 years after christ's death. our timeline is screwed up. so it can happen any time now. all of the signes have happened (wars, global warming ect.) excpt for one. the jewesh temple must be rebuilt. (i believe this is a sing) with sadam out of the way, there is peace, with peace, there is noting stoping them from rebuilding the temple. bible says "when they cry peace and safety, sudden distruciton commeth upon them" them in this context is the world.
