WOW: Burning Crusade lag?

Question

For those who have installed BC, I have two questions. 1) If you have created a blood elf or draenei, are the newbie areas completely saturated with people to the point where it is difficult to get your quests done? 2) For those who have travelled to Outland, have you noticed if Outland is saturated with people...is it chaos between Horde and Alliance (thinking PVP server)? Lotsa pvp or are people leaving each other alone to enjoy exploring and the new content?

well that would probabaly depeng on what relm your on.... but in general i would expect that everyone who has it will be useing all the new features they can...... so people are so enthusthiastic about it im not supprised that the new BE areas are saturated with people but it should "diffuse" outward and clear up in a week or two... because after the initial rush of ppl from launch day and leave in about 6 days for ppl 2 finaly put it down so they can sleep plus the fact that people WILL be moving outward after they have done all the quests or reached the high end of level "supported" by that area they WILL move outward.

From my experience (laughing skull) the answer to both is YES. I have a 60 rogue on laughing skull and logged in the afternoon of the 17th and the lag was horrible! Hellfire Penninsula had horde and alliance running in every direction for as far as the game would render. And even though my group eventually moved to the swamps (less ppl, less lag) whenever someone pvped it quickly turned into a massive battle as somone riding by would dismount ot help out, then someone else until you had 10+ ppl dying... Even in the swamps we still encountered some pvp.

I then tried making a BE on Blackwing Lair and while the lag was not bad, and I didn't play much - there was definently ALOT of people, in the spot where your character spawns there was easily 15 other ppl who just hit create like me :D and many more running around killing stuff.

1. Yes, there are a lot of people making new blood elfs... But, the respawn rate is extremely fast, so that it is ok.

2. The outlands on my server were suprisingly not laggy at all even last night when i first logged on after the midnight opening. The pvp isnt bad because i think that people are more concerned with lvling and seeing new stuff in the game.
