Use concealer stick before applying eye makeup. This helps "hold" the colour on your face, without wearing off. Instead of liquid or pencil eyeliner, use your dark eyeshadow, applied with a pointed sponge applicator. "Set" it into place by brushing on some light pink or light beige eyeshadow underneath the liner.

a really good way to keep eyeliner to stay on is to go over the top of it with eye shadow in the same shade or close to the same shade. The powder sets it and makes looks a little less harsh then plain pencil!

Fluidline by MAC stays on and doesn't smudge. I love this stuff. If you put it on with the right brush it goes on perfect and doesn't go anywhere.

I use Clinique brush-on cream liner. It's waterproof and stays on until I take it off at night. It'll last you forever too. A little goes a very long way.

i'm not sure what it's called, but benefit makes a sealer for eye make-up. Check sephora.com, and you should be able to find the name.
