It is perhaps better to say that one cannot live without some sort of battle, whether it be physical or from within.

I think life is about love. I also believe that much love has to do with fighting as people become jealous of the love's of others, but love is ultimately the real reason for life. Read Corinthians 13. Love is what life is all about.

Life itself is not the war, the war is the struggle. War is the negative opposing force which exists within ourselves, and expands into to the world before us. In this life there is none without it whatever the extent.

If they are the same thing then it doesnt look like we have progressed all that much have we??? Dont overlook many of the reasons for war...sadly all too many tied to greed.....for riches, power, dominance etc.
