My daughter is 3 months old and she still wakes up every 2 hours to eat. When will she sleep through the night or at least sleep for a longer stretch of time. She won't go to bed till after 10pm at the earliest. I also am breastfeeding her.

Babies vary. Most experts say that babies establish their sleeping patterns between 2 and 6 months. My son is 4 months old, goes to sleep at 10-10:30 pm, wakes up for a 6am feeding then goes back to sleep. So don't lose hope. You may want to try setting up a routine to get her used to bedtime. A bath, bottle and swaddle with the lights low worked for me.

Good luck!

I think both mine started sleeping through the night around 3 1/2 months. One thing to do, is don't automatically feed her when she wakes up at night. She might just need some help getting back to sleep.

my son did the same thing he finally started at six months to og for 6 hour then around 11 months to go throw the whole night each child is different. What might help is giving her a bottle before she goes to sleep and it might help her eat more and sleep alittle longer. I found a bottle before bed help alittle. Also she may be growing so she will eat throw the night more. Best of luck and eventual you will have a ful night sleep.

you have have been given me stumped. "she would be in a position to not circulate lower back to sleep till she has a bottle with formulation." And the priority is.....? "Is there something i'm able to do to help her sleep extra advantageous?" seems such as you responded your very own question. How approximately giving her a bottle with formulation? purely a tenet..... there is not something unusual. unusual or out of the conventional some 7 month previous toddler not drowsing via the nighttime. She sounds completely generic to me. My one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous has on no account slept via the nighttime the two, and nonetheless wakes a minimum of two times a nighttime, on a sturdy nighttime. EDIT - "exceeds that shrink". Huh?? you're proscribing your daughter's foodstuff intake? Feeding each and every 4 hours for the duration of the day is purely 4 bottles. besides, feeding your toddler does not reason the enamel decay. i'm so puzzled - you reported she is going mind-blowing lower back to sleep till 5am if she has a bottle. sounds to me such as you have an incredible sleeper who purely wakes as quickly as to feed. fairly sturdy for a 7 month previous! My 2d toddler replace into waking each and every a million-2 hours at that age. anyhow, there is truly not something you're able to do to "make"a toddler sleep via the nighttime. she would be in a position to realize that milestone while SHE is waiting, purely like another milestone. Cereal in her bottle or CIO are the two risky and ineffective techniques to tension your toddler to sleep. and there is not any way you could practice a toddler to not be hungry.

My daughter started sleeping through the night when she was 3 months old. One thing you can try to do is keep your daughter up more during the day and night, that way she'll sleep through the night.

Breastfed babies tend to wake more often because they digest breastmilk so quickly. Before bedtime... make sure your baby empties the first breast completely. After she has nursed 10-20 minutes (depending on the rate at which your baby sucks), she'll get the rich, high-calorie milk known as hindmilk. Hindmilk will help fill her up and satisfy hunger longer. Many babies don't sleep through the night for the first year.

My son started to sleep best at night when he was 3months. Although i breastfed he would usually wake up just for the comfort of his pacifier. Also depending on the tempature, make sure it isnt too hot because babies usually wont cry if they are hot but they will if they are cold ,most babies sleep best when the air is a little cool.

babies that are breast feed tend to eat more than formula fed babies. That's one reason she's still waking up to eat so often. It takes time. My son didn't start sleeping through the night until some time after a yr old! Babies create their own schedule.
