For christmas I got the book son of a witch (which is the sequel to wicked) But I never read wicked, but I kind of know the story. Would I be able to read it without reading wicked first?

Of course you could read Son of a Witch before reading Wicked, because all of the related back story that is needed to understand Son of a Witch is addressed in this book. However, I prefer not to read sequels until I have read the previous books because then you already know the characters and you can relate to their quests a lot better.

Well I personally think that you should read Wicked first.... Becasue there are alot of subtle things that you might not pick up on if you don't read it... I guess that you could read Son of a Witch without reading Wicked, but Wicked is a realy good book and you kinda just get hooked on it once you start... the same goes for Son of a Witch... The sequal has some of the back story that goes along with Son of a Witch but I think for you to understand it best you should read Wicked first... but that is just my oppinion. Have fun and good luck!!!!

I suggested the musical and that i loved it. I havent study the e book myself, yet alot of my acquaintances have, they prefer it. that is in common words very diverse from the musical. that is not as satisfied, it has a darker mood. yet i have heard that is sweet all an same.
