I actually saw the movie, so i can tell you.
It's a great movie, you have to see, if you like fantasy it's a fantasy story, but it's mixed with a cruel reality, after the spanish civil war.
The movie has some parts where it's cruel and painful, but that kind of violence is completely justified for telling the story.
Maybe is the same violence you would see in a James Bond movie - but it's so well done that you can feel the pain.
I can tell you there's only about four scenes specially violent, and that's all.
You should try, don't let others to influence you, i believe you are gonna love it.
Let us know!

First of all, don't listen to those who are degrading this movie. It's well worth seeing I've heard from most people.
That said, I've only seen the first 10 minutes, and in that period there IS one very violent/bloody incident. Without giving anything away, there's blood, someone being hit in the face multiple times with a blunt object and death. I don't know about the rest of the movie, although it just generally seems pretty dark, like a mature audiences version of a fairy tale. Perhaps PG-13 would've been better? I don't know, probably more like later teens, which warrants an R, I suppose.

Ah you've tremendous flavor in video clips, besides the undeniable fact that stay away from S.Darko in any respect prices its like staring at the Matrix trilogy really of only seeing the first one, a huge enable down. i'd propose ideal right here: Amelie (2001) Audrey Tautou an really lengthy Engagement (2004) - Audrey Tatou Brick (2005) Joseph Gordon-Levitt,Emilie de Ravin also propose ideal right here Danny Boyle directed video clips Shallow Grave (1994) Ewan McGregor Sunshine (2007) Cillian Murphy, Rose Byrne and Chris Evans, Michelle Yeoh 28 Days Later (2002) Cillian Murphy and also Clint Eastwood's Million greenback infant (2004) starring himself and Hillary Swank and Morgan Freeman and Christopher Nolan's The status (2006) with Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale and Scarlet Johanssen. and that i virtually forgot one in all my own favs Gattaca (1997) with Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. And if i might want to upload one extra, in case you're into Westerns attempt The lacking (2003) with Cate Blanchett, Tommy Lee Jones and a tender Evan Rachel timber. talking of Evan Rachel timber also inspect The existence previously Her Eyes (2007) at the same time with her and Uma Thurman. wish you delight in lol i might want to bypass on and on, yet a minimum of it truly is a starting up aspect...

Watch the original Labyrinth movie from the 80s, and you'll get your answer. It's a fantasy movie, it'll have some kind of fightning and struggle between good and evil. But it won't be gratuitious.

Because the movie is extremely gay, don't waste your time or money on a stupid fantasy movie. See Blood Diamond instead. It is amazing.
