Nope. Lyings a bad habit people have. They get to the point they lie so much they can't keep their story straight, they confuse and hurt themselves and others. I prefer to be honest and tell the truth always

Sure I have, lots, and so have most everyone out there. I'm talking little white lies here, like the coworker who brought in home-made cookies which I found to be as hard as concrete and rather bland and tasteless, and the only way I could eat one was to soak it in milk so it was soft enough to take a bite out of, but I said they were good, just like everyone else. She tried, she is a nice lady, so why bust her bubble over something so inconsequential? Maybe to her these were the absolute perfect cookies. And then there is one guy who makes the coffee once in a while who I swear can't count and makes the weakest coffee ever, but again, maybe that is the perfect coffee for him, so there it is again, another white lie. So, it comes down to the magnitude of damage the lie can cause. The more damage, the less likely I will lie. Have I ever lied about something that was really big? Sure I have, but I'll take the 5th. If, hypothetically, I had committed a crime, and no one witnessed or even knew I did it, I would not even admit to even KNOWING OF the crime, which would be the lie, and would be something no one could refute without proof, evidence. And yes, if I had done something like this example, I most assuredly would lie, lie, lie. A long time ago someone told me, even if you are literally caught with your pants down, deny, deny, deny. Look at Bill Clinton, when he said, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." He almost got away with it, didn't he? The thing about a really good lie, is that it contains almost all truth... "It depends on what your definition of 'is' is." So, yes, I lie all the time about a lot of things and even for someone average like me, I think it is indeed possible to commit a "perfect" crime. Consider, I act alone and I tell no one and I have a plausable denial in place and who's to say what I did or didn''t do? The elements are motive, means and opportunity without reasonable doubt.

Which type of lie are we talking about...an overt lie or a lie of omission? I haven't told either today...but there's always tomorrow.

I always lie. But I mostly lie to myself. Either way, lying is a part of daily life. Just ask for forgiveness when the **** hits the fan. lol. But you gotta really mean it.
