i've searched websites and been to petshops and animal shelters (most were elderly, to be rehomed as a pair or to go where there will be no other animals).
I have two young cats who would like a playmate, i'm looking for a 15wk or younger kitten so my other cats do not feel threatened, sex, colour or breed are not important, within suitable distance for a kitten to travel back to chester/liverpool, must be very energetic to match the personalitys of my other cats......kitty heaven awaits them

Hi, sorry that you still haven't find one ... I've just noticed that on this site, which claims to trawl the internet to find new ads, there seems to be a facility to get it to email you when new ads are placed.

http://chester.local.thesun.co.uk/sale/pet/cat/

This might be just what you need - especially if they'd email you at once.

It's a shame you're not nearer because I've a Bengal kitten here that would probably be ideal & he's not silly money because I want him to go to a loving pet home ... only snag is that I'm all the way down here in Cornwall ... & there are ads for other kittens that are closer to you.

Have you visited all the local pet shops & newsagents (corner shops etc) to look in the windows for ads? Howabout your local animal charity shops? (for some reason we have four different animal charity shops in our town!!) I expect you've also tried your local paper & your local paper's website.

There's a list of rescue centres in Cheshire on these pages:

Good luck - hope an advert gets placed soon & that you find the perfect playmate for your two.

I got my kitten from an ad in the Friday-Ads, you know the free newspaper? Mine is a normal tabby cat who was 9 wks old when I bought him for £50 (which was actually quite expensive) - but he was sooooo worth it.

good luck choosing!

Please go back to the shelter and look again . The thought of someone wanting a cat and cats that need a home not getting together breaks my heart.
