Ok ya'll don't have to be such asses! I am asking a very simple question to get other peoples thoughts...is that so wrong? Some of you are such jackasses so misserable in there own life that they feel they need to treat other people like ***!! GROW UP!!!

2 concepts: Do It Yourself, and Freedom Above All Else. I think those pretty much sum it up. It is the common thread between The Stooges, The Ramones, Crass, The Clash, Black Flag, etc, etc. It is getting harder to find today than in the days of my youth, but it is still around.

Wow I cant even understand why someone who claims to know what punk is would ask other people like she wants to loom it over their heads that in the end what she thinks is right and to be honest wont change her mind no matter what. The honest truth is that there is no define. for "punk" its a lifestyle, a state of being, a way of feeling. your question disgusts me and I hope no one else wastes their time reading about it

Sure. Its very rare to find real punk anymore. Not just this watered down crap high kids are trying to pass off as punk.
