The public health nurse when she dropped by with all the mountains of info they like to bring was very clear that post partum depression can START any time up to one year after birth. Also post partum depression or not if you need help you need help, do not be ashamed.

On a personal note, pregnancy actually stopped my from being depressed I really felt awesome the whole time I was pregnant and for about 6 months after. Then I could feel my metabolism going back to the way it was, my appetite, my skin and hair etc. The depression also returned. So there are a lot of changes that happen the whole year after you have a baby.

Take care of yourself that is the best gift you can give your family.

You should immediately see your doctor. They will either put you on medication, have you talk to a therapist/counselor, or refer you to a psychiatrist. Postpartum depression is more common in the first 6 months. Good luck to you!

i'm 19 weeks pregnant, 4 months and 3 weeks, and that i'm purely beginning off to coach. i've got not gained hardly any weight in any respect and human beings nonetheless won't be in a position to truly tell i'm pregnant. So it does not experience like i'm pregnant. you will start to experience extra pregnant once you experience the toddler shifting and kicking. and additionally once you get extra suitable and you purely might desire to renowned you're pregnant, lol.

Yes you are depressed but everyone goes through it. babies take alot out of you. You are tired and stressed and it doesn't help when you are fighting with your husband. hang in there. Call Dr. and see what he says.
