Well first of all if they screw somthing up while they are doing the surgery then that would be bad. The chances of somthing going wrong depends on how far along you are. And with how far along you are different methods are used to preform the abortion. If you are further along the procedure becomes more invasive therefore a much greater risk. Generally the risks are low but It is a surgery no matter how short a procedure. Also the main factor in this is your mental health after. You will remmber it like it was yesterday, when you see a baby it will remind you, and later down the road when you get married and decide to have children you will worry that somthing might have gone wrong in the abortion and now you may not be able to have children. Its a very stressful procedure, and make sure you want this abortion or you will regret it later.

Good luck

Friends I have known that had abortions suffered more mentally in the beginning...Then later they had problems conceiving & carring a child... Most of them miscarried a few times or had children with problems/disabilities/handicaps!!! If you or someone you know doesn't want a child give that child a loving home through adoption... If you just learn about the couples that so desparatley want kids & can't, your heart would break...Give them a special gift, make the most of your mistake!

Like any major surgery there are risks but they depend on you and your overall health, age and length of pregnancy. You need to contact a Dr or Planned Parenthood for the most comprehensive information.

I don't know of any damage it does to your body. Mentally and emotionally it will be a true struggle though.

Can cause damage that can make it unlikely to have a baby later. As with any surgery, it can cause death to you. Why not consider adoption?
