Questions concerning my resume?

I am writing a resume for a potential employer and need help. I am needing help on how to write on my resume about my computer skills which are basic. Can someone rephrase this for me into my resume. I just need 2 or 3 sentences?

I would list programs that you are proficient in (i.s. Microsoft Office, Word, Word Perfect etc.), and possibly operations (sending and receiving e-mail, report writing, Scanning equipment, copying equipment etc.). Is this an office job or not (that determines how in depth you will need to be). If you proceed to the interview process, that is when you explain the extent of your knowledge/skills to the interviewer. Good Luck!

Just write "Familiar with Windows XP, Microsoft Word, Internet search engines"
You wont be lying since XP is the most common operating system outhere, Word is fairly straight forward and any one familiar with Internet Explorer can use it, and search engines... well... you are using yahoo.. enough said
