I have a 2000 Ford f-150, I have a problem shifting into 4x4, do these motors have this sticking or siezing up problem? or is there another problem these have problems with?

I am going to try and get through your question one part at a time. The mechanism that shifts your truck in and out of four wheel drive is the transfer case. It is not a motor. They come in two varieties, manual shifting and electronic shifting. On the electric ones there is a servo motor which you may be referring to. These do fail from time to time.
If this is your problem you can find these unit on the side of your transfer case and test it by jumping the terminals on the side.
