He was probably the last President to get a total pass from the media. Starting with Johnson, through Nixon, and ever since.. journalists have been less prone to going along with Camelot-like fluff coverage of Presidents... just because they are President.

Technically he was unique because there was only one of him. But that's not really much of an accomplishment to be measured as unique.

Who said he was unique? Many paint him as a paragon of goodness but he was just a normal man with flaws and attributions.
